Evidence-Informed Adaptation

We cover verified school-related costs beyond tuition, reducing immediate financial barriers that can disrupt participation in school.

Our KICD-based programme builds practical capabilities in areas such as decision-making, financial literacy, digital safety, healthy relationships, self-confidence and leadership.

We adapt programme emphasis to each cohort’s age, grade and context, drawing on participant voice to address the challenges girls identify as most relevant.

The Delivery Pathway

How Our Model Works

01 · Partner with Schools

We work with public schools serving economically vulnerable communities to identify barriers affecting girls’ participation in education and establish a trusted platform for programme delivery.

02 · Identify and Enrol Girls

Girls are identified using clear eligibility criteria and school input. Participation is voluntary and subject to parent or guardian consent and each girl’s assent.

04 · Build Skills and Agency

We assess progress, track participation and gather girls’ feedback to understand what is working, refine the programme and build a stronger foundation for responsible expansion.

03 · Address Critical Cost Gaps

We cover verified school-related costs that may disrupt regular participation, reducing immediate financial barriers and supporting girls to remain engaged in education.

Girls participate in structured, age-appropriate life-skills sessions grounded in Kenya’s KICD-approved curriculum and informed by documented approaches, with emphasis on challenges identified by each cohort.
